Agrii-Start Drill+ is designed for use specifically in placement drills.
The unique formulation contains both NPKS, MgO CaO and trace elements Mn, Cu, B & Zn.
Suitable for all crops, Agrii-Start Drill+ has the added feature of controlled release technology, utilising a biodegradable polymer which keeps the nutrition where the plant needs it.
Controlled release fertiliser (CRF) enables the fertiliser to provide a steady release of nutrients matched to crop uptake.
The fertiliser starts to work at soil temperatures over 5ºC. This results in a product that’s better for the environment thanks to reduced leaching, volatilisation and denitrification.
Placing fertilisers in a band enables the user to target nutrients where the crop needs them the most.
Banding fertiliser also helps to reduce establishment costs and to reduce pressure on the environment due to inefficient use of fertilisers.
Benefits of Drill+
- Reduces N leaching Up to 60%
- Reduces NH3 volatilisation Up to 70%
- Reduces N20 emissions 15%
- Increases yield by 25%
- Increase NUE by 60%
- Safe to germinating seedlings
Application Guidance
What is Agrii-Start Drill+
✚ A phased release of nutrition helps to maintain suitable electrical conductivity levels for nutrient absorption.
✚ This product will be well suited for OSR and spring barley, especially as a placement starter fertiliser.
✚ The potash and phosphate are combined into one granule, with sulphur and potash being sourced from polysulphate, so won’t leach away in more adverse conditions.
✚ A combination of zinc, manganese, boron and copper are also provided in the same granule.
✚ A two-way blend helping with reliability in the drill when being
used as a placement material.
