Warehouse Operative - Backshift

We are seeking to recruit an experienced and professional Warehouse
Operative for our busy Alconbury site.

This is a permanent role - 40 hours of work per week (Monday to Friday, 14.00 - 22.30), with additional overtime as required by the business.

The applicant will work alongside the existing team to manage all aspects of day to day warehousing and assist the Depot Manager with providing first class distribution, warehouse and delivery service.

Main duties include:

Picking and Preparing orders for dispatch to our depots
Loading and unloading vehicles (Transits - Class 1)
Locating stock in the warehouse
Assisting the day and nightshift operations

The role would suit applicants with previous experience in a warehouse
environment.

Essential to this role is experience and confidence of driving Reach and Counterbalance Fork Lift Trucks, supported by valid certificates.

The role also requires a certain amount of physical activity including
lifting and carrying.
