Seed Plant Operative

We are looking to employ a Seed Plant Operative for our site based in Moreton, Essex.

The role will involve operating the Seed Cleaning Lines, cleaning a variety of different seeds ready for treatment and bagging and meeting pre-determined quality standards. The Seed Plant Operative will also need to regularly recalibrate and maintain the operating machinery to the right settings for various seed requirements. Training will be provided for this role.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:

An understanding of machinery and some basic engineering skills are strongly preferred, but not essential.
An interest in the agricultural sector.
Strong interpersonal & communication skills.
A Positive work ethic.
Able to adapt and demonstrate flexibility in the role, in line with the fluctuating demands of our business.
A counterbalance forklift truck licence would be desirable.

This is a permanent role offering 45 hours of work per week, with additional paid overtime as required by the business.
