Commercial Account Manager
We are looking to employ a Commercial Accounts Manager for a home-based, permanent position, with travel expected across the country though predominantly focused in Eastern and Northern England.

We are seeking a Commercial Accounts Manager to play a pivotal role in supporting the business by managing key customer accounts and driving performance-related growth. The successful candidate will work closely with Area Business Managers (ABMs), agronomists, and the wider commercial team to align product strategies and develop new business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Predominantly Crop Protection-focused, but encompassing the full range of crop inputs, proactively managing and engaging specific key customer accounts, building and maintaining strong relationships including with BASIS-qualified customers.
- Support the crop protection strategy, liaising with key stakeholders within both technical, commercial, and agronomy teams as well external contacts.
- Collaborate with ABMs and agronomists to help deliver business objectives.
- Drive the development and management of crop protection, seed, grain, nutrition, and precision farming opportunities for both new and existing customers.
- Participate in team meetings and briefings, delivering commercial support and product strategies.
- Provide market intelligence and negotiate offers with customers and other key contacts.
- Maintain accurate volume forecasts and financial data, ensuring regular reporting on customer accounts.
Knowledge & Experience Required:
- Must be BASIS-qualified, with FACTS being advantageous.
- First-class communication skills including presenting technical and commercial aspects of offers.
- Experience managing commercial accounts, with a strong understanding of crop protection products and the agricultural industry.
- Proven ability to build and maintain long-lasting customer relationships.
- Excellent commercial awareness and experience in negotiations and sales.
- Ability to work flexibly, meeting seasonal and customer demands.
- Ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines, and maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all dealings.
